Hey Folks .... Just need two seconds of your time to take this quick survey!! I want to ensure that my site is effectively and efficiently delivering results and keeping my fans satisfied. Thanks in advance!! :0
Rapper Lil Mama,21 who is best known for her 2008 smash hit “Lip Gloss” and now offers her expertise as a judge on MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew sat down with The Breakfast Club and of course they wasted no time at wanting to address her antics and “foolish” comments. (smh)
So for those who are not familiar with The Breakfast Club, they are a popular radio station (Power 105.1) located in New York. Hosted by DJ Envy, Angela Yee and “Charlamagne Tha God” who is known for his disrespectful and rude comments.
And of course he was “on” and he couldn’t wait to dig into Lil Mama. The interview immediately went wrong and I cringed while watching as Charlamagne called her “The Voice of The Young Scruggle Face” along with other disrespectful insults. Even worse when she asked what he meant by that comment he responded by saying:
"Cause your young and you have an old face, like Drake says 'I'm really too young to be looking this old.' "
But the “Lip Gloss” star seemed to take the shots well as she rocked side-to-side, to help calm her nerves and uneasiness. Yet she dished the insults right back at him and also discussed her wanting to move to Paris with no plans of making a new album anytime soon.
Lil Mama Speaks on the VMA event:
"Ever since I was a kid I was always a fan of Hip-Hop" said Mama. "If you get your limelight whether your sixteen or twenty-one or wherever you're at, you get your lime when you get your lime but if you're a part of Hip-Hop and a child of Hip-Hop then you will always be a part of Hip-Hop. In my day, in my era, Ralph McDaniels, just being five and being at his block party you could just got onstage. If you see an awards show you'll see people can go onstage. Or you'll see that energy and it'll be received. So maybe my love was misconcepted."
Lil Mama Speaks on Her Comments about Nicki Minaj
I mean it is what it is. My side is very neutral. The last time we seen any female emcees before Nicki there was me.
Lil Mama Speaks on Not Having Support:
“I get very angry. Why is it that my community does not accept me and respect me for being a young Black woman coming out of East NY Brooklyn and Harlem and still being in television and whatever else that I can be apart of to be a positive influence to other young girls that come from my community?” she asked before responding to her own question. “The answer is that the people supported something-a part about me that I sort of let go: music, dance. That’s where hip hop lives,” she said.
After the verbal boxing match between these two simmered, things took a very unexpected turn as Lil Mama broke down in tears (19:00 min mark) as she spoke about her first debut album and how she lost her mother to cancer. Even Charlamagne’s motor mouth went on pause and stopped with the jokes.
Though I’m not a die heart Lil Mama fan but I do respect her as a person and her passion for whatever she believes in. Critics, bloggers and radio personalities need to understand that there is a thin line between “keeping it real” and being down right disrespectful. With that, I agree with her that the black community needs to focus more on uplifting each other rather than focusing on negativity.
Love and Hip Hop TV star Emily Bis breaking away from just being "Fab's Baby Mama" and is definitely making a name for her self. With her women's fashion line dropping January 2012 entitled "Emily B", she hit up 106 and Park to school us on what fashion trends are HOT for the Summer!!
And not only was her mini fashion show cute ..... those leggings she had on were EVERYTHING and of course her hips and thighs filled them out quite nicely ;)
So apparently Jazmine Sullivan is not done with the music business and rumor has it that she is back in her the studio working on her 3rd album!!! Yaaayyy!!

"I lost one of my senses, and that's the hardest thing I went through," she says. "It's a miracle I got it back. I can hear running water again. I can hear my mother say, 'I love you.' I'm on an assignment from God."
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony announced Friday that hey have decided to end their marriage after seven years. The couple released a statement stating,
"We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters."
So are you shocked?? Umm well I’m not! Cuz these two have had their share of failed marriages; this will be Jennifer’s Third divorce and Marc’s Second.
Crazy how they file for divorce when J-LO is back in the spotlight, with her recent hosting gig on American Idol as well as her musical comeback. (Hmmm interesting)
REMINDER: Never look in on other relationships and wish you had what they have …because you never know what goes on behind closed doors. And its apparent that everything wasn’t all “sweet” between these two.

There is never a dull moment when it comes to this messy music and entertainment industry. Whether it’s the latest gossip, rumors, drama, who’s sleeping with who etc; there is always something to keep bloggers like me, busy. Though many stories may not always be accurate, but it indeed keeps celebs relevant and there is a huge audience of people who are eager to stay informed on what’s going on with their favorite or not so favorite celebs. With that there are thousands of bloggers out here who are willing to satisfying and give the people what they want.
In addition to supplying gossip, there is a necessity to keep those informed on new music from mainstream artists. However industry executives aren’t too happy with bloggers who post unreleased music on their sites. Meanwhile they have created a “Blacklist” which includes over a hundred popular blogs and websites who are guilty of posting new and unreleased music. This has been implemented by Universal Music Group to eventually shut down these sites because they feel that they are interfering with the record sales of their artists. With that, these blogs and websites could potential be sued and removed for piracy violations.
In spite of this not only are bloggers and fans disappointed, there are artists who aren’t too fond of Universal Music Group’s “blacklist” which can be viewed here. With that, rapper Drake turned to tweet to vent his frustrations with, “Universal needs to stop taking my f—ing songs down. I am doing this for the people not for your label.”
Though regulating and controlling certain content is understandable, I think its silly that Universal Music Group would even believe this would be effective. First off blogs have become one of the main sources for information, and it is important that bloggers keep their audience updated with new music and updates about their favorite artist.
Furthermore if it weren’t for the presence of bloggers today, people wouldn’t never even know about new artists such as Nicki Minaj, Frank Ocean, Big Sean and many others. So removing and banning these sites is ridiculous, and is in no way going to increase album sales, but it just may backfire and decrease sales.
This generation of music lovers enjoys getting a taste of what to expect from their favorite artists, and taking the privilege away would only make fans irritated. Nevertheless we will have to wait and see how all this all pans out because if Universal Music Group is serious about taking further action then lot people aren’t going to be too pleased with this.
A little birdie dropped off a record in my email of this super dope chick Nycole V. and I was truly impressed by her tone and style. Yes, initially she put in the mind of JoJo but she indeed exudes her own style and grace on this record "eNVy" feat J. Young ...
